VRC and VIQC at Oberon College !!!!

It was an exciting day for robotics enthusiasts as teams from different schools came together to showcase their skills and teamwork in the field of robotics. The competition was fierce, and the teams left no stone unturned in their efforts to come out on top.

In the VEX Robotics Challenge, Hillcrest Stargazers team from Hillcrest Christian College took home the Excellence Award with team number 7479D. Tournament Champions were awarded to two teams, [ Lethal Presence ] from Templestowe College with team number 1002T and the Templestowe College team with team number 1002B. The Design Award was awarded to [ Lethal Presence ] team and the Robot Skills Champion Award went to the same team. The Judges Award went to 3+1 Eve and Wall-E team from Copperfield College with team number 96498C.

The first annual competition in Geelong, Hosted at Oberon College, saw many teams making the drive to the city. The event was made possible with the support of Seven Venton and sponsorship from the Geelong Tech School.

In the VEX IQ Challenge, the Excellence Award was given to Aquinas Aardvarks team from Aquinas College with team number 20153E for their excellence in design, engineering, teamwork and programming. The Teamwork Champion Award was also given to Aquinas Aardvarks team and the Templestowe College team with team number 3107F. The Design Award was awarded to Templestowe College team with team number 3107J, recognizing their excellence in design and engineering. The Robot Skills Champion Award was given to Aquinas Aardvarks team and the Judges Award went to Code Black team from Innovate Technology & Robotics Academy (ITRA) with team number 68885A for making the most significant impact on the competition.
