March 20th and 21st in2robotics and VEX ran the first of the Australian pre-season tournaments. We had 25 teams from Mount Alexander College, Templestowe College, Aquinas College, Forest Hill College, and Xavier College out at the exhibition centre for the two days. The competition was running inside of the Future Schools Conference so students really had a great opportunity to show their creations off to hundreds of teachers. Among the highlights were the teams from Aquinas College who were able to dominate the game from their first match. Aquinas had the only robots capable of achieving high hang points on the VRC field. Copperfield College, the Australian champions brought their robot in to show off as well. It was quite an impressive machine.
